Please note that special charges may apply for services like tolls, fees, and special permits:

  • Charges for bridge, ferry, tunnel, or highway tolls will be included in the pricing.

  • Entrance fees will also be charged, but fees for special licenses or permits will be applied separately, based on actual costs.

Payment Terms

We offer flexible payment options for your convenience:

  • Cash, Credit Card (with a 5% processing fee), Venmo, or Zelle are accepted.

  • Payment is due on the day of service.

  • A $100 booking deposit is required to secure your move, which is non-refundable in case of cancellation. If you need to reschedule, a $50 rescheduling fee will apply.

Liability and Insurance

At AK Movers, we take great care with your belongings, but we are required to set limits for liability:

  • Liability for loss or damage to items will be limited to $0.60 per pound of each item, if the loss is due to the fault or negligence of the carrier.

Carrier’s Liability for Delays

While we strive to maintain our schedule, the carrier will not be liable for delays caused by:

  • Acts of God, public enemies, law enforcement actions, quarantines, or perils of navigation.

  • Strikes, riots, wars, road conditions, breakdowns, snowstorms, and other uncontrollable conditions.

If any conditions listed above make it unsafe to continue, the carrier will not be held liable for delays or damages.
